Seminar on Sustainable Development : Corporate Strategy and Approach “Low Carbon Economy”

Participants of Seminar on “Low Carbon Economy” Petrotech Society in association with ONGC organized a two days seminar on “Low Carbon Economy from 18th-19th February 2010 at Hotel The Claridges, New Delhi. The seminar was inaugurated by Mr R S Sharma, CMD, ONGC & Chairman Petrotech Society. Mr A K Hazarika Director (Onshore), ONGC and Mr V C Agrawal, Director (HR), IOCL delivered Keynote Address. Mr A B Chakraborty, GGM Chief-CMG, ONGC introduced about the seminar. Mr Naresh Kumar, MD, Jindal Drilling & President, Petrotech Society welcomed the august gathering present during the session. Mr J L Raina, Secretary General & CEO, Petrotech proposed a Vote of Thanks. The two days seminar was attended by 84 participants from 12 organizations from oil & gas industry.

Leader's Conclave:

Petrotech Society is association with Global Energy Talent Organized a Leaders’ Conclave on 4th February 2010 at Hotel The Claridges, New Delhi. The topic was : The human Dimension of Oil & Gas : Leveraging Indian Talent for the global oil & gas industry. The session was moderated by Mr Ian Rushby, Chairman of Global Energy Talent. The key topics of discussion were the talent landscape in India pertaining to the oil & gas industry and opportunities that arise from it. The session was attended by senior management from several Indian and international companies including oil companies and service companies. Mr Pierre Bismuth, Chairman, Mr Rajeev Sonthalia, Country Head, Schlumberger; Mr Naresh Kumar, MD, Jindal Drilling & Industries and President, Petrotech; Mr M A Pathan, Chairman, Tata Petrodyne; Mr Anand Kumar, Director (R&D), IOCL:, Mr P K Rastogi, Executive Director, EIL; Dr Sujaya Banerjee, CLO Essar Oil, Mr Neeraj Sethi, CEO, Asian Oilfield Services; Mr David Woodward, Sr Advisor, Mubadala were also present during the conclave.
