Petrotech Society welcomed its Chairman, Mr R S Sharma, CMD, ONGC in the new premises situated in SCOPE Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Mr J L Raina, Secretary General & CEO formally welcomed Chairman, Petrotech Society and apprised about the current status of activities of Petrotech Society and action plans in hand for the coming months.

Mr N Saikia, DGM, PETROTECH 2009 highlighted the current status and action in hand about the forthcoming mega event PETROTECH-2009, the 8th International Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition being held from 11th-15th January 2009 on the theme “Energy Independence with Global Cooperation: Challenges and Solutions”

Mr R S Sharma, CMD ONGC & Chairman Petrotech Society had shown his happiness about the improvement in the activities of Petrotech Society and gave important points by which Petrotech Society could improve further and become more visible & vibrant in the oil and gas industry.  He also suggested that Petrotech Society with the help of oil and gas industry players should be able to purchase a land for making Petrotech Centre.  He advised Petrotech to improve its website and use email as a media, so that information about the current happenings in the industry can be made available to its Members and other within no time.
